Assistant Finance Manager

Here at GXO, we’re recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager to support our operation at Avonmouth. This is a full‑time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, where you’ll provide clear, accurate and insightful financial reporting, supporting forecasting, budgeting and operational decision‑making across the contract.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
• Produce accurate and timely weekly and period financial reporting, analysing and explaining variances
• Support month‑end processes, including balance sheet and revenue reconciliations
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, supporting operational performance
• Assist with forecasting and annual budget preparation in line with GXO standards
• Build strong relationships with operational and finance stakeholders to ensure financial insight drives performance
What you need to succeed at GXO:
• Experience in a similar finance or management accounting role
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines
• Confident communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
• AAT qualified or actively studying towards CIMA or ACCA (preferred)
