Class 2 Driver

Here at GXO, we’re expanding and looking for dedicated Class 2 drivers to join our energetic team at Northampton (NN4 5EL) working on our Click and Collect contract Clicklink.
This is a full-time, permanent role. You will be working on a 4 on, 2 off shift pattern, with start times between 04:00 and 06:00.

What you will do on a typical day:
- Make deliveries and collections on customer premises for a variety of clients
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks and promptly report any defects to the transport team
- Ensure all delivery documentation, including PODs, manifests, and associated paperwork, is completed accurately
- Comply with GXO Health & Safety policies, transport legislation, and company procedures at all times
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, including vehicle cleanliness, personal appearance, and customer service
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Hold a valid Class 2 licence
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
- An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
- Computer literate, experience of WMS systems and MS Office packages
