Inventory Manager

Here at GXO, we a looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to join our contract based in Grange Park. You will oversee all inventory activities, ensuring daily objectives and customer SLAs are met. You’ll lead a team of inventory operatives, manage client interactions, and drive continuous improvement in stock control processes.

 

This is a full-time, permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 08:00 till 16:30.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Oversee and control all stock processing activities, ensuring accurate recording and documentation
  • Act as the primary contact for all inventory-related queries and communications
  • Maintain and enhance the inventory reporting suite to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Communicate stock accuracy issues to relevant stakeholders and ensure resolution
  • Apply technical knowledge to support an efficient and effective inventory control team

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; WMS experience is a plus
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and adapt to change
  • Customer-facing experience and a proactive, self-motivated approach
