Here at GXO, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an MHE Operative to join our team in Northampton.
The role is full-time and permanent, based on a 5 out of 7 working patterns. Shift patterns available 14:00-22:00 or 22:00-06:00.
Pay, benefits and more:
- £12.71 per hour
- Additional hourly allowances are available depending on your MHE skills: VNA +£0.50 per hour, Reach Truck and Counterbalance +£0.25 per hour, and Scissor Lift +£0.11 per hour. A night shift premium of +£1.00 per hour applies for all hours worked between 6:00pm – 6:00am

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently within drive-in racking systems
- Load, unload, and move pallets to designated storage or dispatch areas
- Ensure accurate stock placement and retrieval following warehouse procedures
- Carry out daily forklift checks and report any faults or safety issues
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A reasonable level of physical fitness to meet daily handling duties
- Confidence using IT systems and basic computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment
- FLT License
- A positive attitude and ability to follow procedures
