WMS Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused WMS Application Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to develop, implement, and support Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS solutions across multiple business units and customer operations.
This is a full-time, permanent role, with hybrid working from either our Northampton or Manchester offices, you will be typically working Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm, however flexibility will be needed. There may be unsociable hours in the evening and weekends especially around “Go Live” periods however we offer flexibility to accommodate this

We’re looking to offer a salary of £38,000 to £45,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Work closely with operational teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective WMS solutions and configurations.
- Design, configure, and implement end-to-end WMS solutions to meet customer and business requirements.
- Plan, execute, and document testing activities to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and ready for deployment.
- Provide expert advice and consultancy on the effective use of WMS and integrated third-party applications.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Highly proficient in Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS to Super User level as a minimum.
- Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, SQL knowledge would be an advantage
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A full UK driving license & flexibility for overnight stays on occasions
