Here at GXO, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse MHE Operative to join our team at our Northampton DC7 site (NN4 9EX).
This is full-time, permanent role, based on any ‘5 out of 7’ working patterns. Shift patterns available 14:00 - 22:00 or 22:00 - 06:00.
Pay, benefits and more:
- An hourly rate of £12.71
- An hourly rate of £15.61 working afternoon shift (including Reach Truck allowance and shift premium for hours 18:00 - 22:00)
- An hourly rate of £16.61 working night shift (including Reach Truck allowance and shift premium for hours 22:00 - 06:00)

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently within drive-in racking systems
- Load, unload, and move pallets to designated storage or dispatch areas
- Ensure accurate stock placement and retrieval following warehouse procedures
- Carry out daily forklift checks and report any faults or safety issues
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience operating a Reach Truck or VNA.
- A reasonable level of physical fitness to meet daily handling duties
- Confidence using IT systems and basic computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment
