We are recruiting for three Supervisors to join our new Amsterdam site, supporting a leading technology customer. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing, growing, and developing the operation from the ground up.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting start-up phase, helping to shape the culture, processes, and performance of a new operation while delivering exceptional service for our customer. You'll lead by example, support your team to succeed, and contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and high-performing workplace.

How you'll make an impact

 

  • Lead, coach, and develop your team to achieve operational and personal success
  • Drive operational excellence through a structured and process-focused approach
  • Utilise multiple systems to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant operations
  • Analyse and report on operational data, identifying trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Monitor KPIs, productivity, and workload accuracy to ensure performance targets are met
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and the customer
  • Maintain a broad operational perspective, balancing daily priorities with long-term objectives
  • Champion a positive safety culture and promote compliance across the operation
  • Identify, support, and implement Lean initiatives that improve efficiency and service delivery

 

What you'll bring to GXO

 

  • Previous experience within logistics, warehousing, or a similar operational environment
  • Proven leadership experience with a passion for developing and motivating teams
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt your approach to different audiences
  • A customer-focused mindset and a collaborative way of working
  • Excellent reporting and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
  • Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are advantageous
  • Experience working with WMS platforms and/or strong Excel skills
  • The ability to remain organised, prioritise effectively, and perform in a fast-paced environment
