Compliance First Line Manager FTC 12 mths

Join GXO as a Transport Compliance FLM and play a vital role in supporting the Costa network to maintain the highest standards of transport compliance. Working closely with operational teams across multiple sites, you'll help ensure vehicles, drivers and transport activities remain fully compliant with legal requirements and GXO policies. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who enjoys investigating issues, building strong working relationships and helping to create a safe, efficient and compliant transport operation.

 

This is a full‑time, 12 month fixed term contract, working Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Monitor vehicle, driver and fleet compliance across the Costa network
  • Manage Tachomaster, Checkmaster and compliance records to ensure accurate reporting
  • Investigate compliance issues, driver infringements and support corrective actions
  • Conduct audits and checks to ensure adherence to Earned Recognition and GXO standards
  • Work closely with operational teams to maintain a safe, compliant and efficient transport operation

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Experience in transport compliance, fleet compliance or a transport administration role, with a strong understanding of legal requirements
  • A Transport Manager CPC qualification, or a willingness to develop your compliance knowledge within a transport environment
  • Knowledge of transport compliance systems and Microsoft Office; experience with Tachomaster, Axscend or similar systems would be advantageous
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to investigate issues and manage your own workload
