As the Senior Manager, Implementation, you will lead implementation teams and continuous improvement initiatives that support successful customer onboarding, operational excellence, and process optimization across GXO's logistics operations. You will partner cross-functionally with Operations, IT, Engineering, PMO, Finance, and customers to deliver implementation projects, drive Lean improvements, resolve operational challenges, and develop high-performing teams while ensuring service levels, quality, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Lead implementation teams and manage customer implementations, ensuring deliverables meet client SLAs, company standards, and operational objectives
- Partner with Operations, IT, Engineering, and PMO teams to conduct cross-functional process reviews, identify operational and system gaps, and develop scalable solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using GXO Lean methodologies, including project management, gap analysis, resource planning, financial validation, and ongoing performance measurement
- Serve as the primary escalation point for implementation issues, prepare customer-facing presentations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex operational challenges
- Coach, mentor, and develop implementation team members through onboarding, training, performance management, and talent development
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 10-12 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, implementation, or supply chain operations
- 8-10 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; 8 years with a Master's degree; or 5 years of business experience with a PhD
- Experience leading cross-functional implementation, continuous improvement, or operational excellence projects in a customer-focused environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies, project management, gap analysis, process improvement, and resource planning
- Experience leading teams through hiring, coaching, performance management, employee development, and organizational change
- Excellent communication, presentation, conflict resolution, customer relationship management, and problem-solving skills with experience collaborating across Operations, IT, Engineering, and PMO teams
It'd be great if you also have:
- Lean Certification (Lean Six Sigma or equivalent)
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), logistics technology, and customer-facing implementation projects
- Experience developing executive presentations, facilitating cross-functional process reviews, and driving operational improvements across multiple business functions
