As a Senior Manager, Implementations, you will play a key role in contributing to the operational efficiency and financial success of the company through effective planning, execution, resource management and delivery of projects on time and on budget.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Create, manage, and implement project execution plans and production readiness testing.
- Provide project management and guidance to project team members to ensure timeline and budget compliance.
- Creatively problem solve to remove roadblocks and meet business needs.
- Collaborate with business process owners to identify and scope areas of opportunity.
- Provide leadership for project execution to internal departments and external clients; offer direction and guidance to the project team and communicate project requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
- Hold others accountable to project commitments.
- Influence without authority to achieve project goals.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the full scope of work including contracts, requirements, dependencies, schedules, budget, logistics, labor, materials, equipment and other pertinent project needs.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive project playbook with identifiable critical paths, task dependencies, and major milestones.
- Proactively identify project risks and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Establish solid collaboration and working relationships with senior leadership to support company goals.
- Ensure all new sites are set up for success to operate in the ‘GXO Way’.
- Develop change management strategies to support project goals.
- Provide feedback and appropriately escalate risks and/or project roadblocks.
- Support other project managers and project team members as needed.
- Provide on-site support as needed to ensure project success.
- Create and provide project status reporting for internal and external audiences.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 4 years of experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously of varying scope and size in a supply chain, logistics, or distribution environment
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong knowledge of operational and financial drivers within supply chain environments
- Solid understanding of change management processes and methodologies
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50%
It’d be great if you also have:
- Advanced degree in Project Management, Supply Chain or related field
- PMP certification
- Lean Six Sigma certification
