This role is open to candidates based remotely in the USA. The preferred candidate in the Southern California region.

The annual salary range for this role is $118,623 - $150,000 / Year. GXO, in good faith, believes this is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This rate may be modified in the future. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Maintain responsibility for overall P&L to meet established budgets and forecasts
- Ensure the effectiveness of the operation’s communication, interaction and relationship with company drivers
- Oversee the management of tractor maintenance, compliance and service delivery
- Handle 1-2 on-site managers who supervise a total of 20-30 employees
- Track operational performance including on-time pick-up and delivery, volume, equipment balance and empty miles
- Ensure driver recruiting and retention meets established fleet size goals
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- 5 years of transportation management experience
- Advanced knowledge of DOT rules and regulations
- Solid experience in the principles and practices of the transportation industry
It’d be great if you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10 years of experience in the transportation industry
- Dedicated Fleet Management experience
- Ability to find opportunities to increase accuracy, optimize resources and implement solutions
