To support our growing presence in the Netherlands, we are looking for an Inventory Controller to join the new site in Hazeldonk, near Breda!

 

What you do on a typical day

  • Run inventory reports using the appropriate inventory queries within the WMS and transfer data to the Count Sheet template and shared network.
  • Perform end-of-month, end-of-quarter, cycle, and physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure ongoing inventory accuracy and integrity.
  • Coordinate the timing of file extracts, reconciliation programs, and inventory adjustments to meet host processing and warehouse operational requirements.
  • Investigate, resolve, and prevent inventory discrepancies by reviewing transaction history within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Correct back routes, re-routes, and shipping errors.
  • Create and distribute daily inventory reconciliation reports, inventory adjustment summaries, warehouse productivity reports, and warehouse error reports.
  • Coordinate and monitor automated stock transfers.
  • Work safely in accordance with GXO Health & Safety training, standards, procedures, and processes, while actively contributing to a safer working environment for colleagues and visitors.
  • Adhere to applicable legal requirements, GXO policies, and industry standards, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

 

What you need to succeed

  • Completed relevant education.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a logistics or production environment.
  • Fluent English language skills; Dutch language skills would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
