We’re looking for an QESH Officer (EHS Coordinator) to join our team in Rijsbergen and play a key role in driving a strong health, safety and environmental culture across site.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be the go-to person for all things Environmental, Heath and Safety, working closely with leadership and employees to ensure compliance, reduce risk, improve processes, and keep safety front and centre in day-to-day operations.

What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the on-site expert for health, safety and environmental matters
- Execute EHS Plan/Program projects as directed by the EHS Program Manager (linked to any customer requirements)
- Driving incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Coordinating risk assessments and helping implement site-specific safety measures
- Supporting emergency response planning, drills, and site preparedness
- Tracking EHS performance data and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Helping build an engaging, proactive safety culture across the operation
- Coordinate and conduct EHS inductions and site specific safety training for all employees
- Coordinate the closure of all EHS observations and actions, including Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA) and those stemming from Leadership Walks
- Maintain records in accordance with ISO9001 standards
What we’re looking for
- Experience in an EHS / HSE / SHEQ / Safety Coordinator role, ideally within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong knowledge of health and safety compliance and operational risk management is essential
- Confident handling incident investigations, audits, and corrective action tracking
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels – Dutch is desirable
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently on site
- Experience delivering training or inductions is highly desirable
- Relevant EHS qualification/certification preferred
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft 365
- Own transport required
