To support our growing presence in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Teamleader to join the new site in Hazeldonk!

 

What you do on a typical day

  • Responsible for the daily operations, processes, productivity, quality, and KPIs within the department, including Warehouse, Returns, or Quality activities
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and develop employees through training, appraisals, performance management, and daily operational support
  • Support staffing activities, time registration, and provide recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, performance evaluations, and contract termination
  • Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to company standards, procedures, and work instructions while maintaining a positive team environment
  • Lead start-up activities and continuously drive process improvements within the department
  • Ensure process documentation and work instructions remain up to date and are followed by the team

 

What you need to succeed

  • Strong experience in a similar leadership position within logistics operations
  • Proven experience leading large teams in an international environment
  • Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is considered an advantage
  • Proactive, flexible, and self-starting attitude with strong people management skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and WMS functionality 
  • Willingness to work in shifts
