Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our M&S site in Thorncliffe. In this role, you'll provide efficient administrative support to the payroll department, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of payroll for our employees.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Run weekly WFD Time & Attendance payroll checks and address/correct any discrepancies

Conduct weekly Agency payroll checks and raise any discrepancies with Agency contacts also complete agency weekly breakdown reports and Site weekly costings reports for Finance & Site Managers

Raise Purchase Orders without delay and ensure all Purchase Orders are coded/allocated and raised correctly

Ensure all costs relating to orders are captured/recorded correctly and maintaining Site PO log
What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous administration experience, ideally in a payroll environment

Excellent communicator, as you will be working with stakeholders at different levels

Strong IT knowledge and confident using Microsoft Office and other systems/databases

Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability prioritise workload effectively
