Warehouse Repack Team Leader

Here at GXO, we are looking for a Warehouse Repack Team Leader to join our Heinz team in Wigan.

We are looking for a positive and forward-thinking individual who is passionate about people, operational excellence, and delivering results. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is committed to driving performance and continuous improvement.

 

This is a full time, permanent position, working an “any 5 from 7”, rotating over 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00 shift pattern.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £34,199.80, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Promote and maintain the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring safe systems of work are always followed
  • Support the Repack Management Team in delivering a safe, efficient, and customer-focused operation
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team through clear communication, coaching, and effective people management
  • Manage attendance, performance, and employee development through regular reviews and one-to-one meetings
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational changes are effectively communicated and implemented

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience in Warehouse and or Repack
  • Experience supervising, coaching, or supporting colleagues
  • High levels of resilience, determination, and a results-driven approach
