Transportation administrator

Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join our site based at Northampton NN4 5EL.

 

You will be working 40 hours per week on a (12-month) Fixed Term contract (maternity cover) on a 4on,4off shift between the hours of 06:00-18:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Monitor delivery and driver performance and escalating to transport teams accordingly
  • Communicate with the GXO Clicklink transport network to obtain regular updates and information to support customer service resolution.
  • Entering data and submitting performance report to clients
  • Ensure documentation is dealt with, including driver manifests
  • Provide effective shift handovers, ensuring they are accurate to maintain performance across shifts
  • Prioritise and process customer requests submitted by phone and/or e-mail

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Good knowledge of supply chain, transportation, and safety standards
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments
  • Familiarity with using GPS and navigation tools
  • Good Knowledge of Microsoft office packages and ideally experience of M-Netics ePod/eTrack and Microlise would be desirable.
