Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join our Screwfix team in Stafford.

 

This is an exciting opportunity reporting directly to the transport team manager. You will be involved with the ongoing communication throughout the progress of outbound and inbound routes, compliance, and service fulfilment daily - in and out of the depot.

 

This is a full time, permanent role and you will be working 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday on a fixed shift pattern of 08:00-16:00 .

 

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £27,436.50 and receive 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).

What you'll do on a typical day:  

 

  • Work within our Transport department and report directly to the transport team manager
  • Manage daily validation of Transport Schedule
  • Be responsible for keeping records and compliance for company vehicles
  • Key duties include – database management, maintenance scheduling and general administrative tasks
  • Manage fleet compliance, raise defect issues

 

 

What you need to success at GXO: 

 

  • Previous experience in logistics or Transport fleet admin
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage high volumes of data and able to meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
