Here at GXO, we’re looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to lead the HR agenda across our Sainsbury's Transport operation in Stoke-on-Trent and our Sainsburys Argos site in Barton.

Pay, benefits and more:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, including retail discounts!
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Lead the delivery of a high-quality HR service across both sites, providing both strategic and operational people support to drive business performance
- Coach and support managers on employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, appeals, absence management and employment legislation compliance
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, partnering with operational leaders, customers and Trade Union representatives to deliver positive people outcomes
- Drive engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives, leading recruitment, onboarding, talent development and annual engagement survey action plans
- Lead people change and continuous improvement, managing complex ER cases, TUPE transfers, HR reporting/KPIs and a direct report to ensure an exceptional HR function
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience) with strong, up-to-date employment law knowledge and a proven ability to manage complex employee relations cases
- An experienced HR leader with a track record of supporting and influencing stakeholders across multiple sites and operational environments
