Regional Transport Panner

Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Regional Transport Planner to join our ever-growing Transport Team at our Sainsburys site in Stoke. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, any 5 days out of 7.

You’ll be paid a salary of up to £32,500 and receive 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays. What you'll do on a typical day:

 

  • Production and maintenance of accurate transport plans aligned to operational requirements
  • Achievement of agreed KPIs and SLAs whilst effectively planning and utilising transport hours and driver resource
  • Management of driver rotas, holidays, time and attendance exceptions
  • Accurate weekly finance and performance data collation and timely escalation and resolution of planning exceptions
  • Support for peak and seasonal planning activities
  • Flexibility to support planning activity across multiple sites

 

 

What will you bring? 

 

  • Experience within transport, logistics or planning environment and an understanding of transport operations and planning
  • Strong organisation and competent IT skills
  • Flexibility to travel between sites; full UK driving licence required
  • Experience of Ortec or similar transport planning systems
  • Multisite or network planning experience
