Class 1 Driver

At GXO Swindon, we are recruiting a Class 1 Driver to join our City Plumbing operation. City Plumbing is a well‑established national supplier of plumbing, heating, and bathroom products, known for its strong reputation and excellent customer service and you will play a key role in supporting its reliable and efficient supply chain.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, with start times between 04:00 and 07:00, offering stability, consistency and the chance to be part of a trusted and growing logistics team.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Complete multi-drop deliveries, averaging 3–7 drops per day
• Operate the vehicle in a safe, legal, and professional manner, ensuring it is correctly loaded before leaving site (no handball required)
• Accurately complete all delivery documentation in line with company policies and procedures
• Operate automated lift decks as required on a day-to-day basis

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A valid Class 1 Driving license, CPC and Digi tacho card
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DR,DG,DD,BA,CD,AC,LC or TT99 endorsements)
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently​​​​​​​
