Cleaning Operative

We're looking for a dedicated Cleaner to join our Iceland operation in Swindon. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in keeping our freezer facility safe, clean and running efficiently. From clearing ice build-up to maintaining excellent housekeeping standards, you'll help ensure the operation is operating at its best every day.

To support colleagues working in the freezer environment, you'll receive paid breaks, including a 10-minute warm-up break for every hour worked.

This is full-time, permanent role working Monday to Friday covering the hours between 07:00 and 15:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Clean and maintain designated warehouse and freezer areas
• Remove and clear ice build-up within the freezer environment
• Complete all cleaning tasks to a consistently high standard
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site requirements
• Support the wider team in maintaining a safe, clean and organised workplace

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• The ability to work in a physically demanding role
• Confidence working in cold and freezer conditions
• Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently
• Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided
