Transport Supervisor

Here at GXO, we are looking for a Night Transport Supervisor to lead our team in Raunds, supporting our Beko contract. Reporting into the Transport Manager, you will be engaging with drivers and suppliers, ensuring customer KPI’s are met, all vehicles are operated within legal parameters and drivers are managed within compliance.
This is a permanent, full-time role working Monday to Friday 22:00 – 07:00, however flexibility is required – this is logistics after all!

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Monitor daily transport operations, tracking deliveries, liaising with drivers and customers, and ensuring service levels and KPIs are consistently achieved
- Review driver, vehicle, and trailer resources to ensure all work is covered safely, efficiently, and in line with operational requirements
- Manage transport compliance, including driver debriefs, tachograph infringements, vehicle defects, and driver hours legislation
- Coordinate vehicle and trailer maintenance, working with service providers to minimise downtime and effectively manage breakdowns and incidents
- Drive safety and performance through driver management, accident investigations, and proactive Health & Safety activities across the operation
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience with vehicle maintenance planning and legal requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience developing relationships with customers and colleagues
- IOSH and International Transport Manager CPC qualifications would be beneficial
- Competent Microsoft Office user including Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience of cost control and working within budget, reporting and managing cost variances
- Knowledge of drivers’ hours and working time directive rules
