Warehouse Team Leader

We are currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our Thales team at our site in Templecombe. You will lead a team and coordinate activities to achieve business goals by focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.


This is a full-time, permanent position working
Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 08:00 am - 16:00 pm

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • You’ll op Motivate and manage a team of MTOs to achieve, and where possible exceed, all performance objectives
  • Recording performance reports, making recommendations for improvements
  • Where necessary, support disciplinary and grievance meetings ensuring adherence to company disciplinary and grievance policies
  • Ensure all product is handled correctly to avoid damages
  • Maintain stock accuracy/integrity to contractual level and target continuous improvement in accuracy levels

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • PC literate and numerate with good communication skills, including a minimum of a basic understanding of Microsoft Office as required
  • Attention to detail required to assume quality checking/quality control
  • Good use of Six Sigma and Lean techniques
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
