Senior Accountant
Workplace: Warsaw
Job requirement :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance
- Ability to work in a multicultural diverse environment and under pressure
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated analytical skills and PC proficient
- English and Romanian speaker is a must
Key Responsibilities:
- Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
- Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted local accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance
- Producing accounting reports and monthly/quarterly/yearly statistics
- Computation and payments on daily / monthly basis
- Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
- Cooperation with external auditors to carry out annual external auditing
- Cooperates with tax authorities in case of tax reviews
