Senior Accountant

Job requirement :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
• Must have at least 5 years’ experience in accounting or finance
• Ability to work in a multicultural diverse environment and under pressure
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Organized, with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated analytical skills and PC proficient
• English and Romanian speaker is a must

Key Responsibilities:

• Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
• Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted local accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance
• Producing accounting reports and monthly/quarterly/yearly statistics
• Computation and payments on daily / monthly basis
• Assist in the development and implementation of goals, policies, priorities, and procedures relating to financial management, budget, accounting
• Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
• Cooperation with external auditors to carry out annual external auditing
• Cooperates with tax authorities in case of tax reviews
