Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to join our team in Wellingborough, supporting our Virgin Media O2 contract. You’ll be supporting the delivery of a first-class people service in all areas of the employee life cycle, including HR, Payroll and Employee Engagement.
This is a full time, permanent position, working, Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00. Some flexibility will be required, this is logistics, after all!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Be involved with the recruitment of colleagues, including completing interviews, offers and preparing contract packs
- Ensure all colleagues are compliant with the right to work in the UK and ensure the tracker is maintained and up to date
- All admin related tasks within the HR department are dealt with and managed efficiently
- Support HR Manager in the execution of all key policies
- Manage the VM02 email inbox
- Maintain trackers for disciplinary/investigation/grievance cases
- Ensure all paperwork relating to employees is saved correctly in the employee’s personnel files
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous administration experience (in a HR office environment), ideally within logistics
- Excellent PC skills, with a great understanding of Excel
- Experience of undertaking a broad range of tasks including working with line managers on employee relations
- Some knowledge of employment law – essential
- CIPD qualified or studying towards – essential
- Excellent attention to detail
