Warehouse Operative

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for Warehouse Operatives to support our team working on the Huel contract, based at our Wellingborough site (NN8 6XX)

 

You will be working either 37.5 or 40 Hours per week (dependant on which shift you choose) on a full time, permanent basis, on either of the following shifts:-

 

AM – Monday-Friday 06:00–14:00

PM – Monday-Friday 14:00-22:00

AM – Tuesday-Friday 06:00-14:00 including Saturday 09:00-17:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Picking, packing, replenishing stock and pallet stacking
  • Pallet cage marshalling, pallet / cage loading
  • Rework / co-packing, hygiene, and other related tasks (5S, continuous improvement)
  • Customer products range from 2kg –20kg and will involve being on your feet for extended periods of 8 hours, with rotation of the tasks to support manual handling requirements
  • Working with WMS system DLx, using RF devices, pro glove and pick to light systems for order picking packing

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • MHE licenses would be advantageous (PPT, Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklift
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience in working with WMS/ERP systems ideally Red Prairie
