Quality Audit Manager

Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Quality Audit Manager to join our team at Hinkley Point C, where we’re building the next generation of nuclear power stations. As a Tier One partner to NNB, we manage critical warehousing and transportation services, and this role is at the heart of ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of nuclear quality, safety, and compliance.

 

This is a high-impact position where you’ll drive quality assurance strategy, lead audit programmes, and champion a strong safety-first culture across the business.

This is a full-time permanent position. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:00 with a requirement for regular travel between sites. However, some flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

 

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a company car and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme.

 

What you’ll do on a typical day:

 

  • Leading internal and external audit programmes, from planning through to reporting and follow-up actions
  • Ensuring all logistics processes meet nuclear quality standards and comply with ISO 9001 and regulatory requirements
  • Investigating non-conformances (NCRs), conducting root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions
  • Partnering with operational teams and senior leadership to optimise compliant and efficient processes
  • Supporting regulatory engagements, including ONR interventions, and ensuring audit readiness at all times

 

What you need to succeed at GXO:

 

  • Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
  • Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying risks and improvements
  • Experience in logistics environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, report KPIs, and drive continuous improvement
