Facility Coordinator
Logistics at full potential
Are you the kind of person who likes to make things work better, safer and smarter? As our Facility Coordinator at our new site near Breda, you’ll play a key role in creating a smooth-running workplace from the ground up — keeping our building, equipment and facilities reliable, compliant and ready to support a fast-moving logistics operation.
This is a great opportunity if you enjoy variety, ownership and visible impact. You’ll work closely with internal teams and specialist partners, solve practical problems, improve ways of working and help shape a site where colleagues can do their best work every day.
What you’ll make happen
- Keep the site running smoothly by coordinating daily and planned maintenance activities safely, accurately and on time
- Be the link between operations, internal stakeholders and approved vendors, ensuring equipment and building systems are maintained to a high standard
- Use data, reports and agreed targets to spot issues early, follow up on actions and help improve site performance
- Maintain clear, accurate records including maintenance logs, vendor documentation and compliance information
- Deliver a responsive, reliable service by communicating clearly and acting quickly when support is needed
- Help create a safe, compliant working environment by applying company policies, safety procedures and relevant legal requirements
- Contribute to a safety-first culture in line with GXO Health & Safety standards, training and procedures
- Support sustainability initiatives that reduce energy, water and fuel use, waste and emissions
- Bring ideas forward and help implement smarter, simpler and more efficient ways of working
What will help you succeed
- MBO Level 4 or HBO in Facility Management, or equivalent experience gained in a similar environment
- Around 3+ years’ experience in facilities, maintenance coordination or site services, ideally within logistics, warehousing or another operational setting
- A practical, solution-focused mindset with the confidence to coordinate suppliers, follow up actions and keep multiple priorities moving
- Technical knowledge of air conditioning units and/or electrical engineering would be a strong advantage
- Clear communication skills in English; Dutch language skills would be a plus
- Experience with LEAN or continuous improvement in a warehouse or operational environment would be beneficial
What’s in it for you
- A competitive salary plus benefits
- The chance to join a new site where your input, ownership and ideas can genuinely make a difference
- Development opportunities through the GXO University portal, plus support and coaching to help you grow
- A varied role in an entrepreneurial, open and informal culture where no two days are the same
- A friendly, supportive team and a working environment where safety, collaboration and continuous improvement matter
- A full-time position of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
